Transmissions that slip
A slipping transmission – a common “buzz word,” in the automotive community. Though traditionally it was a clutch that would slip, people often come into auto repair shops describing their transmission as “slipping.” Maybe it happens at a certain speed, or maybe it stutters or doesn’t shift into the gear it is meant to and they say it is slipping. While this may be true, it could also be a symptom of the engine itself.
